Rainbow Coloring Greeting Card

Hey, y’all! Stephanie here again, from Coffee Stamps Chaos, with a fun and simple project using digital stamps, Cardstock warehouse cardstock, a couple of dies & Copic coloring. Without further ado, let’s get started!

For this project you will need:

  • Cardstock Warehouse Cardstock Papers
    • Pure White 100lb
    • Punch Stardream 105lb
    • Sirio Ultra Black 105lb
  • Angie Blom Digital Stamp Set
    • Lucky Charm Girl
  • Gina Marie Designs Dies
    • Stitched Rectangles
    • Peek-a-Boo Rectangles
  • Alcohol Markers, I use Copics
  • Adhesive
    • Foam Tape
    • Scor-Tape
    • Nuvo Glue
  • Sequins
    • Trinity Stamps Morning Meadow
  • Paper Trimmer
  • Die Cutting Machine

This time I kept my project easy to replicate. I started with a digital stamp set from Angie Blom Digital Designs. I just love all of her images! On my computer, I lowered the opacity on the image so the lines would be faint, (light gray) and printed my images onto Cardstock Warehouse Pure White 100lb Cardstock.

Then I colored my image panel using Copic Markers. I have included the color “recipe” I used to make it easy for you to color your own rainbow! I started with my darkest colors at the top, working my way through them to the lightest colors at the ends of the rainbow.

Once my image was colored, I die cut it using Stitched Rectangle Dies, then use Sirio Ultra Black cardstock cut using Peek A Boo Rectangle Dies to create a frame for the colored image.

I used scor-tape to adhere it to the image panel. Once that was done I used foam tape to back the image panel and adhered it to my Punch Stardream card base.

I then decided to add some pastel-colored sequins to add a little texture and interest to the card.

And ta-da! You're done! Wasn't that easy?
