Hello crafty friends! I hope you're having a great day! Fall is just around the corner, so what better way to celebrate than with a sunflower card. Let's get started!
Supplies:
- Cardstock Warehouse Paper:
- Lockwood Green 100lb
- Lessebo Canary 100lb
- Lessebo White 100lb
- Lessebo Pitch Black 100lb
- Black Mirror
- Colorplan Bagdad Brown 100lb
- Paper Bag Kraft 100lb
- Liquid Glue
- Distress Oxide Spray "Broken China"
- Blending Brush
- Concord & 9th Sayings Die
- Spellbinders Dazzling Dots Embossing Folder
- Waffle Flower Frames Die
- Honey Bee Stamps Lovely Layers Sunflower Die
- Distress Oxide "Carved Pumpkin" & "Mustard Seed"
- Distress Ink "Walnut Stain"
First, I used Spellbinders Dazzling Dots embossing folder to emboss the panel. I then spritzed Distress Oxide Spray Broken China on my mat and I pressed the panel in the oxide. I used my heat tool to dry the panel.
Next, used Honey Bee Stamps Lovely Layers Sunflower die to die-cut the layers from Lessebo Canary cardstock. The leaves were cut from Lockwood Green and the center from Bagdad Brown Cardstock.
Then, using my blending brush, I applied Distress Oxides Mustard Seed and Carved Pumpkin on each layer of the flower.
I then used adhesive glue to assemble the sunflower.
Next, I die cut the sentiment once from Black Mirror and twice from Lessebo White cardstock. I then stacked the layers with liquid glue.
Next, I adhered all of the components to the card base, and added a hint of gold splatter to the card.
Lastly, I applied Distress Ink Walnut Stain around the edge of the frame and for a final touch, I added flat gold embellishments to the center of the sunflower.
I love how this turned out and I hope you do as well!
