Autumn Sunflower Handmade Card

Hello crafty friends! I hope you're having a great day! Fall is just around the corner, so what better way to celebrate than with a sunflower card. Let's get started!

Supplies:

  • Cardstock Warehouse Paper:
    • Lockwood Green 100lb
    • Lessebo Canary 100lb
    • Lessebo White 100lb
    • Lessebo Pitch Black 100lb
    • Black Mirror
    • Colorplan Bagdad Brown 100lb
    • Paper Bag Kraft 100lb
  • Liquid Glue
  • Distress Oxide Spray "Broken China"
  • Blending Brush
  • Concord & 9th Sayings Die
  • Spellbinders Dazzling Dots Embossing Folder
  • Waffle Flower Frames Die
  • Honey Bee Stamps Lovely Layers Sunflower Die
  • Distress Oxide "Carved Pumpkin" & "Mustard Seed"
  • Distress Ink "Walnut Stain"

First, I used Spellbinders Dazzling Dots embossing folder to emboss the panel. I then spritzed Distress Oxide Spray Broken China on my mat and I pressed the panel in the oxide. I used my heat tool to dry the panel.

Next, used Honey Bee Stamps Lovely Layers Sunflower die to die-cut the layers from Lessebo Canary cardstock. The leaves were cut from Lockwood Green and the center from Bagdad Brown Cardstock.

Then, using my blending brush, I applied Distress Oxides Mustard Seed and Carved Pumpkin on each layer of the flower.

Next, I die cut the sentiment once from Black Mirror and twice from Lessebo White cardstock. I then stacked the layers with liquid glue.

Next, I adhered all of the components to the card base, and added a hint of gold splatter to the card.

Lastly, I applied Distress Ink Walnut Stain around the edge of the frame and for a final touch, I added flat gold embellishments to the center of the sunflower.
