Welcome back scrappy friends, it’s Neftali here today to share a fun Mini Album from start to finish. This one is a little extra special because I made it for my friend’s Baby Shower. This little mini is a fun baby-themed one using some of my favorite papers from the shop.
I also recorded the whole process to share with you all and a full flip thru! You can find those videos at the end of this post, but first, let’s make a baby book.
Here is the list of all the supplies you will need to make this fun Mini Album:
- Cardstock Warehouse Cardstock Papers: Pink Sapphire Mirrisparkle, Lagoon Stardream Metallic, Kunzite Stardream Metallic, White Diamond Print Inkjet Glitter, and Rose Quartz Metallic
- Binder Rings x3
- Electronic Cutting Machine
- Mini Album Cut File
- Foam Tape, Double Sided Tape
- Embellishments of Choice
- Hole Puncher
- Scissors
- Paper Cutter
- Patterned Cardstock
I wanted to create a mini album with some interesting pages, so I downloaded this cut file from the Silhouette Design Store and cut it out on my Silhouette. It’s a perfect baby book album style with fun shaped pages, including a baby bottle. It was just what I was looking for!
I used a mix of papers for my pages including: Pink Sapphire Mirrisparkle, Lagoon Stardream Metallic, Kunzite Stardream Metallic, White Diamond Print Inkjet Glitter, and Rose Quartz Metallic paper. All of these lovely colors gave me the perfect color combination to work up this lovely Baby book.
Once all of my papers were cut, I backed each one of them with a different patterned paper. I am using a 6x6 paper pad to back my pages. I used my scissors to cut around the extra bits of paper and stuck them using double-sided tape.
I ended up with such fun colors and patterns ready to be embellished.
To add decor to my page, I fussy cut some flowers from the flower patterned paper. I also used the cut apart sheet to create more embellishments to choose from. I also used the Little You ephemera pack, and some extra matching bits and bobs from my stash.
Also, since this book was a gift, I went ahead and cut some 3x2 rectangles and added them to each page to add space for a polaroid photo. This will help my friend figure out exactly where to add her photos. There are so many fun details to this book, it’s just so fun and sweet! Here are some extra details inside.
