I began by die cutting the elements for the backpack and its contents from several colors of cardstock and two pieces of patterned paper.
I assembled everything with liquid adhesive and attached the pocket to the front of the backpack with thin foam squares.I left the flap where it could be opened.
After creating a white A2 cardbase, I trimmed some polka dot paper, matted it with Splash cardstock, and adhered it to my card. I diecut some striped paper to look like a piece of notebook paper, curled up the edges. and affixed it at an angle. It makes a cute little background.
I arranged the contents inside the backpack and secured them in place with adhesive. Next, I attached the backpack to my card with double-sided tape.
For my sentiment I diecut “great” twice and offset the layers. I completed the sentiment by stamping some phrases in black ink. To finish the card, I added some enamel dots and a small paperclip.
Thanks for stopping by! I really like how this card turned out, and it was so much fun to make. Hopefully, it will help my daughter be a little more enthusiastic about school, too.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a great start to the school year!

This is WAY. TOO. CUTE! It is truly amazing what you can create with some cardstock 🙌 I also love the amount of effort some people would go to make something for someone else, it’s truly amazing to see ☺️
