Hi everyone! Today I have a super simple yet impactful layout to share with you. This one requires no electronic die cutting machine and can be adapted to any shape you enjoy using. I love the storms that spring brings in and the beautiful colors of the skies, so I chose my color palette off of this inspiration. The design could easily use any color combination so the sky's the limit!

Supplies Needed:
- Scissors and paper trimmer
- Adhesive
- foam tape
- scor-tape
- ruler
Optional:
- Die cuts
- White gel pen
- Alpha stickers
I started by cutting out my geometric shapes. I wanted to use this diamond shape so I cut a 2 inch by 3 inch strip out of each of the colors I used, measured and marked the halfway on all sides, then used my ruler to connect my dots. I cut the first one out and used it as a template for all of the rest. I used scissors and was ok with some wonky lines and imperfections. If you know that will bother you then you may want to use a paper trimmer to ensure a more straight cut.
I used a white gel pen to add some sketchy lines around the shapes to make the not straight edges less noticeable. You could also use stitching to achieve this and that would also look amazing.
Once I had all of my diamonds, I started playing with the design. I tried a bunch of different ways and finally liked the way the diamonds looked forming opposing chevrons, so I glued them all down. Then I got my photo out. I backed it with a scrap piece of card stock and added a layer of patterned paper. I pulled out my new printed die cuts and decided to stay with a monochromatic vibe. I took way too much time moving the flowers around but finally was happy with the placement and adhered them down with a mix of flat and foam adhesive.
To finish I added some stickers and a title.
