Hello crafty friends! I hope you're having a great day! It's the most wonderful time of the year to create Christmas cards. Today, I'm so excited to share with you this quick and simple Christmas Foliage card.
Supplies:
- Cardstock Warehouse Cardstock Paper:
- Lessebo 100lb: Flamingo, Cherry, Evergreen, White
- Colorplan 100lb: Azure Blue
- Gold Mirror
- Gumdrop Green
- Liquid Adhesive Glue
- Spellbinders Postage Edge Die (availabe on Cardstock Warehouse in the Craft Essentials Dies section!)
- Spellbinders Glimmer Foil Machine
- Spellbinders Aura Foil
- Spellbinders Geometric Embossing Folder
- Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil
- Merry Little Christmas Sentiments
- Spellbinders Christmas Bird Poinsettia Die Set
- Foam Tape
First, I used Spellbinders Christmas Bird Poinsettia and Postage Frame die set to cut the poinsettia flowers foliage, postage frame, and embossed panel from Lessebo Cherry, Evergreen, Bagdad Brown, and Gold Mirror cardstocks.
I used Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System to hot foil the holiday sentiment from Aura foil and the Merry Little Christmas Sentiment foil plate set.
Next, I used liquid adhesive to adhere the panel and postage frame to a 4.25 x 5.5 inch top folding card base.
I then positioned and adhered the foliage to the card front. You can layer this however you like.
I positioned and adhered the sentiment using foam tape.
Finally, I added half gold pearls to the center of the poinsettia, and splattered and splotched white paint on the card to resemble snow.
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and it inspires you to create. I love the way this card turned out!
