Hey there crafty friends, I hope your day is going great! I have a super cute Christmas card for you today using some fun ornament dies with vintage-colored cardstock. You could come up with so many color combinations for the ornaments and box. I hope you enjoy... let’s get started.
Supplies:
- Cardstock Warehouse Cardstock Papers
- Forest
- Silver Mirror
- Gold Touch MirriSparkle
- Brown Box Kraft
- Rose Quartz
- Wild Cherry
- Blu Raspberry
- Sour Apple
- The Greetery: Curio Attic Ornaments, Curio Divider & Details II Die
- Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide Ink
- Black Ink
- Blender Brush
- Liquid Glue
- Foam Tape
- Die Cut Machine
I started by die-cutting the “box” for the ornaments. I used Brown Box Kraft cardstock for the A2 card base and the divider pieces. I used a light brown ink (Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide) and a blender brush to add some ink to the background squares and rectangles, along with the framed divider piece. I adhered those pieces to the A2 card base.
Now, I die cut all of the ornaments from Silver, Rose Quartz, Wild Cherry, Blu Rasberry, Sour Apple, and Gold Touch Sparkle. I mixed all of the colors to give that vintage vibe. Then I die cut the wreath and holly berries from Forest and Wild Cherry. I used liquid glue to adhere all of the pieces together.
I stamped the sentiment with black ink and then adhered the ornaments in the openings. I wanted some dimension, so I used foam tape behind them, then I adhered the wreath and holly berries.
Look how beautiful this looks all put together!
I hope you enjoyed this project, Have a wonderful Christmas!
