Paper Fireworks Scrapbook Layout

Hi everyone! Daisie here with a fun firework layout. My family and I love fireworks. We have discovered the perfect place to watch them where we have the best view. This makes for some amazing photos! Today I have chosen to use a cut file on my background and Mirror cardstock to back them. This gives some high impact fireworks!

Supplies Needed:

  • Silhouette or other cutting machine
  • Adhesive
  • Cut files

To start, I used my Silhouette Design software to decide where I wanted each of the fireworks to be located on the page. These will be cut directly from the cardstock used for my background, Nightshift Blue. I used the design tools to resize the cut files and turn them until I was happy with the look. Then I sent it to my Silhouette Cameo to be cut.

Once the background is cut its time to back the cut files. I chose to use a combination of Gold, Copper, and Silver Mirror cardstock. I chose to make each firework have its own dominant color. The centers of each firework was backed with a Stardream paper for the red, white, and blue touches.

Next, I used another cut file for my title and the embellishments. These were cut from a combination of Sweet Tooth White cardstock and the Jupiter Stardream cardstock. The photo was back with a scrap of Gold Touch MirriSparkle cardstock for some added sparkle. I used some white mist to add some splatters on the background. Finally, I added some Foamies Glitter Star Stickers. These finished the layout off perfectly!
