Graduation Bear Card with Clear Element

Hello, crafty friends! I hope you're having a great day! It's graduation season, so today I am sharing with you a quick and easy graduation card.

Supplies:

  • Cardstock Warehouse Papers:
    • White Lessebo 100lb
    • Pitch Black Lessebo 100lb
    • Brown Box Kraft 100lb
    • Kraft Speckletone 100lb
    • Gold Mirror 100lb
  • Adhesive Tape
  • Acetate Sheet
  • Distress Oxide Salty Ocean
  • Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry
  • Blending Brush
  • Bear Die
  • Letter Die
  • Sugar Pea Star Die
  • Graduation Hat Die

First, using a trimmer, I cut an A2 sized (4.25x5.5 inch) top folding Lessebo White card base down to 3x5 inches.

Using an A2 card base as a guide, I adhered a piece of 3.5 inch acetate on the edge of the inside of the card base, creating a completed A2 card base.

Next, I adhered a piece of 3x5 cardstock on the inside of the card, covering the acetate edge.

Using my blending brush, I applied Picked Raspberry and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide to the front of the card base.

Using Gold Mirror cardstock, I adhered die cut stars to the front of the card.

I used Lessebo Pitch Black, Brown Box, and Kraft Speckletone cardstock to assemble the bear. I then used glue to adhere the bear to the card front.

Using the letter dies and Pitch Black Lessebo cardstock, I die cut the GRAD letters and adhered them to the acetate with adhesive tape.

To complete the card, I flipped the card over and adhered Lessebo White GRAD letters to the back of the acetate.

I love how this cute little bear turned out!
