There are so many smaller holidays throughout the year that I want to decorate for, but I don't want to store everything and have bins of decorations coming out my ears! One solution is to have fun cardstock banners to hang up for the smaller “quick” holidays. It’s a super easy decoration to put up, and small enough to store away anywhere!

Let’s dig in and get to work creating this fun 4-leaf clover banner!

To begin, cut all of your pieces on your cutting machine.

After cutting out all of your paper pieces, start assembling your banner by scoring and folding the heart shaped shamrock leaf pieces in half slightly.

Run glue down the fold of the leaves and glue onto the large shamrock pieces.

Attach all of the small banner flag pieces to the top of the large banner flag pieces using adhesive foam dots to add dimension.

After assembling all of the flag pieces, attach the completed 3D shamrock pieces and gold shamrocks to the front center of the flags.

Using a hole punch, punch holes in the top corners of the banner pieces, make sure not to get too close to the edge or the hole will rip when threading the string through. You can enforce the holes with eyelets if desired.

Take the bakers twine and thread the banner pieces through the holes you just punched, alternate banner pieces with pom poms, using a needle to thread poms through string.

You can add additional embellishments if desired. I like a clean and modern look so I kept mine pretty simple! There you have it, an easy to make and easy to store decoration for St. Patrick’s day!
