I began by die cutting the elements to create the cupcakes. Before assembling each cupcake, I added inks in coordinating colors to some of the pieces for dimension. I adhered the various layers together with a combination of liquid adhesive and foam squares.
I created a white slimline cardbase and diecut the white and pink layers for the frame.
I glued the layers together with liquid adhesive and cut clear acetate to fit behind the frame opening. Before attaching the acetate behind the frame, I placed the frame over the cardbase and used it as a placement guide for the cupcakes.
Once the cupcakes were in place, I affixed the acetate behind the opening and adhered the frame to my card with foam tape.
I die cut a banner from white cardstock and heat-embossed a sentiment. I folded the banner along the score lines and attached it to my card with liquid adhesive.
I had so much fun “baking” these cupcakes! With the color range of the Lessebo Colours papers, the possibilities are endless! (I can envision a rainbow of cupcakes!)
Thanks for stopping by! Have a “sweet” day!
