Hello everyone! Daisie here with a fun layout featuring my favorite thing right now, Rainbows. I love to create a scene on my scrapbook layouts. This was a simple way to highlight something that is happening in a photo or even just the tone you are looking for. My daughter had a rainbow-themed birthday party which made a rainbow scene the perfect design.

- Bright Blue Glo-Tone
- Red Hot Pop-Tone

- Bright Green Glo-Tone

- Royal Blue Colorplan
Supplies Needed:
- Die-cutting machine
- Scissors
- Foam adhesive
Optional:
- Thread
- Alpha
- Sequins
- White gel pen
- White mist
To start, I used the new Glo Tone Blue paper and a simple cloud cut file that came with my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the clouds directly from my background. This blue is amazing! It is the perfect sky color. I backed the blue paper with some thin cardboard (I ran out of foam adhesive) and added a full sheet of Sweet Tooth white cardstock.
Next, I freehand drew out a rainbow shape on the Red Hot Pop-Tone cardstock. I cut this out using scissors. Then I used this first stripe to create the next stripe, Orange Fizz Pop-Tone. I cut this out and used it as a template for the next stripe (Banana Split). I continued this through the rainbow of colors. I adhered these strips together using some liquid adhesive.
Finally, I assembled my page. I backed my photo with a scrap piece of Sweet Tooth cardstock. I positioned my picture and my rainbow in the center of the page. I used white thread to add some fluffiness to my clouds. Alpha stickers from my stash were great for my title. Then I added some outline with my white gel pen and some white mist splatter. I finished it off with a few sequins to add sparkle and help tack the thread in place. I am so happy with how happy this layout makes me!
I created a YouTube video for this layout if you are interested in checking out the full process. Don’t forget to head to the shop and check out the new Glo Tone cardstock!
