Have you played “you have been BOOed”?!?? My daughter & I love playing it with friends! I designed these fun boo pennants to add a little extra something to these fun jelly totes. I would love to show you how I made these items, so let's get started!!
Supplies:
- Cardstock Warehouse Papers
- Flamingo Lessebo Colours 83lb
- Bubblegum Lessebo Colours 83lb
- Pitch Black Lessebo Colours 83lb
- Sunflower Lessebo Colours 83lb
- Splash Lessebo Colours 83lb
- Bright White Colorplan 100lb
- Glue & Glue Gun
- Die Cutting Machine (Cricut or similar)
- Cricut Cut File (click here!)
- If you don't have a Cricut, you can search your machine's software for similar images.
- Twine & Ribbon
- Wooden Dowels
- Pop dots
I started by cutting out all the pieces and sorting them by flag. This will make it easier for gluing.
These pennants are pretty easy to put together, so I am only going to show you how to put together the “you’ve been BOOED” one. Start by gluing the spider web pieces into the corners. Then start adding your letters.
Next, glue on the "you've been" letters. Tip - I like gluing “BOOED” on first so it's easier to place “you’ve been.” Once your letters are on, layer together your cute little spider and attach him wherever you'd like.
Assemble your other pennants in the same way, layering together the pieces and gluing them where you'd like them. Then you are ready to glue the wooden dowels to the back of the pennants. I used hot glue to make sure they would stay put. The final (and FUN!) step is to add ribbons to the dowels to add some fun flair!
I had tons of fun staging these with these jelly bags and can't wait to BOO the neighbors!
