Hey guys, it's Shondell from The CraftPrint. 2020 had a lot of postponed weddings, so this year we’ll be needing a lot of crafts to help us out with the influx of celebrations. I'm going to be the maid of honor in my best friends wedding, so I understand.
I'm going to show you how to create theses beautiful table seating card to match a Winter Wonderland themed wedding. They’re not hard to make and you’ll have fun doing it. You’re going to learn how to create them with the names and tables already printed or with a blank page for the calligrapher bride who prefers to write them in.
Supplies Needed:
- Cardstock Warehouse Cardstock Papers
- Sno Cone (from the Pop-Tone Collection, also found in the Winter
- Blues and Island Breeze multi-pack)
- Silver Glitter
- White Diamond Inkjet Printable Glitter
- Sweet Tooth
- Cutting Machine (Im using a Cricut & Design Space)
- Foam Circles
- Glue Gun
We’re going to start in design space and choose these three images to use.
- Winter (#M3D678)
- Congrats Card (MC3024E2) or any rectangle shaped card you want to use
- Snowflake (#M101F4A1E)
The square we can just add from the design space shapes, no need to choose one from the images.
Now that you have all of the images in design space, you’re going to remove the pieces and just leave the card, the top layer of the snow flake and the trees.
Change the card size to 4x4 inches, then add two rectangles for the glitter layer and the personalized layer. Then you will change the colors of the trees to match your theme and flatten it. If you want the names printed on the card, add the text, choose your desired font and flatten it on to the rectangle. If you just want it blank then you’ll just leave the white rectangle to cut. Here is a video outlining the process.
Now that we’ve cut all of the piece, it time to assemble.
You’re going to add the foam squares on each corner and center of the silver glitter layer, the white layer and the tree cut outs. Then place the silver layer onto the folded tent card. Now the white layer on top of the silver layer. With the tree cutouts, you're going to put it on the bottom of the card. The glitter snow flake will get a small dot of glue from your glue gun then be placed at the top left corner of the white layer.
And there you have it, your Winter Wonderland Wedding seating card that your guest are guaranteed to love is complete!
Thank you for crafting along with me, I hope you enjoyed this project and I look forward to seeing your creations.
