2025 New Year's Eve Handmade Card

New Year Handmade Card

Hello crafty friends! I hope you're having a great day! Can you believe another year is gone? Where does the time go? I'm excited to share an easy New Year’s card project that is perfect for celebrating the new year.

Supplies:

First, I used the Sunburst cover Plate die to create the background for my A2 card panel using White Lessebo paper. I then used the A2 skinny frame die to die cut a frame for the panel, also out of White Lessebo.

I used liquid adhesive to adhere the frame to the panel. I used Bearly Art glue since the frame is so skinny. It allows me to use only as much glue as I need on small parts.

Next, I used the Bold Numbers die to cut the numbers from Black Mirror card stock. I positioned the numbers on the panel but didn’t glue them just yet. I want to be able to put my stars around the numbers.

Then, I used the star die to cut stars from Gold Mirror card stock. I then positioned the stars on the panel, arranging some of them in front of and behind the numbers.

Once I was done positioning the elements, I adhered them to the card front.  I used the Winter Sayings stamp set to stamp the “Happy New Year” sentiment. I then cut the sentiment to size and adhered it to the panel with foam tape. I like how this makes it pop off the card a bit.

Once that was complete, I adhered the panel to a 4.25x5.5 - A2 size top folding card base.

Now my New Year’s card is ready to send to someone special! I love the shiny mirror paper. It's perfect for New Year's Eve!
