Peek a Boo Halloween Card

Hi Crafters! It’s spooky season, so let’s bring on all the Halloween projects! Today, we are going to make a super easy Halloween card. Let’s go ahead and gather some supplies.

Here is what you will need:

  • Cardstock Warehouse Paper:
    • White Birch Wood Veneer
    • Pitch Black Lessebo 100lb
    • Quartz Stardream 105lb
    • Terra Rossa Materica 92lb
    • Bright White Colorplan A2 Pre-Cut Card
    • Bright White Colorplan A2 Envelope
  • 2-Way Zig Pen/Bearly Art Glue
  • Crafter Tape
  • Glossy Accents
  • Scissors
  • Cricut Cutting Machine

First, open up Cricut Design Space. Here is the link to my project. If you do not have a Cricut, you can search your machine's software for similar files.

I used the White Birch Wood Veneer for the background as well as Pitch Black. For the eyes and the offset for the phrase I used Quartz, and finally for the “peek-a-boo” phrase, I used Terra Rossa.

Next, apply the Glossy Accents to the eyes. This will give it time to dry before adhering them to the card. I love the way this makes your details pop! (You can find Glossy Accents under the "Craft Essentials" tab in our menu.)

Next, assemble the “peek-a-boo” phrase to the offset pieces using either the 2-way zig pen or the Bearly Art glue.

Then, add all the pieces to the white card. First, add the White Birch background. Then, layer the Pitch Black onto that. Add the Peek-a-Boo phrase and then the eyes.

And there we have it! This card is so simple and easy.
