Hey Crafters! Spring is around the corner and although where I live it is snowy and gloomy, I am ready for some sunshine and pastel colors. So, let’s craft up some fun spring things! Follow along as we create cute personalized bunny tags for Easter baskets and other gifts!
Supplies you will need:
- Cardstock-Warehouse Cardstock Papers
- Lessebo White 83lb
- Lessebo Blossom 83lb
- Lessebo Lagoon 83lb
- Paper Bag Kraft 100lb
- Colorplan Sorbet Yellow 100lb
- Woodstock Arancio 83lb
- Bearly Art® Glue
- Twine
- Cutting Machine (I'm using a Cricut)
- Cut File from SunnygiftsStudio on Etsy
To begin, start by grabbing this file by SunnygiftsStudio on Etsy. You can choose something similar on Etsy or Design Space as well.
Once I uploaded my file into Design Space, I resized the file to make the tags bigger and made other adjustments as well. I wanted the ears to have pink in the middle, so I duplicated the ears and then contoured them, that way I can have the pink centers. Next, choose your colors for each piece. I am using the colors listed above. Now begin cutting.
Once we have all of our pieces cut, we can begin the fun part of assembling the tags! Start with the base piece, then we will add the letter to the top using our Bearly Arts Glue. Next, add the cottontail. Finally, assemble the ears by adhering the white part of the ear to the pink part of the ear, then adhere it to the base. Finally, add your twine.
Now your tags are ready to be tied to a cute basket! That’s it! A super simple Easter tag! Thanks for following along!
Thank you for following along and Happy Easter!
