Hey Everyone, Happy Holidays! Each year my kids love to wait for Santa’s little Elf and see what trouble he can get himself into! It’s such a fun tradition for them, although it can be exhausting for us parents!
But, this year, Cricut released a new cut file, an Elf Door! It’s so quick and super easy and I wanted to share with you all my version of it!

Let’s begin.
Here’s the link to Cricut’s cut file, Elf Door and Wreath.
First things first, cut all of our pieces. I used Sweet Tooth for the door trim pieces and back of the candy canes, Wild Cherry for the back of the door and the candy cane, Red Diamond Print Glitter for the front of the door, Gold Metallic for the knob and the entire backing of the door, Blacktop for the back of the knob and the bottom portion of the door (step), and finally I used Timber Green and Forest Green for the wreath.
Next, let’s assemble this cute little door!
I first took the door frame pieces and assembled those together. Next, I took the doorstep and glued it to the metallic gold backing. Once that was done, I glued the door frame to the top.
Then, I glued the center of the door (the pieces in red and red glitter). Next, glue the tiny doorknob together by layering the black backing to the gold metallic top and then adhering the knob to the top. To finish off the door frame, add your cute little candy canes.
Lastly, my favorite part, assembling the wreath.
I cut the leaves in two different greens for added dimension. As you’re adhering them, alternate colors.
The easiest way to assemble the wreath is by layering each piece on top of the other. Once it is completed, for an added touch, take your glitter glue and add small dots to the leaves. This will look like berries on the wreath.
When the “berries” are dried, adhere the wreath to the front of the Elf Door.
And there we have it, the cutest little elf door you’ve ever seen! My kids have literally added these to every little nook and cranny in our home and now you can too!
Thanks for spending your crafting time with me today and can’t wait to see all of your Elf Doors!
