First, click this link for the Cricut project. Once opened, resize to your desired size of the tag. Be sure to highlight all the elements before resizing so all the pieces cut accordingly. For reference, my tag is 5” tall.
Once you have the tag sized, choose your colors. I chose Evergreen Mirrisparkle for the base of the tag, then for the top part of the tag (sliced piece), I chose Foglia. For the shamrocks, I used Fairway and for the “Happy St. Patrick’s Day” phrase I used Quartz and Onyx.
Now we can begin cutting. Remember, you will need to cut the base piece of the tag twice. One in the green and the other in the acetate sheet.
Organize your pieces and begin assembling! Let’s start with the actual tag itself. Adhere the sliced tag piece on top of the acetate piece. Then, use your mounting tape on the back side of the acetate sheet, using the dark green line from the sliced tag as a guide.
Next, take your small shaker/glitter pieces and add them into the part with the mounting tape. Be sure not to add too much, that way it will shake well. Then, remove the backing off the mounting tape and adhere the Evergreen tag face down to the back.
Next, assemble the phrase. Using a 2-way zig pen, adhere the letters onto the offset piece. Adhere it to the front of the tag.
Now it's time to add the shamrocks to the tag.
Finally, loop a couple of decorative ribbons through the top of the tag.
And we’re done! Add this tag to a fun package of green treats for a special touch!
