Hello, crafty friends! I hope you're having a great day! Love is in the air, so what better way to celebrate the upcoming Valentine holiday than with a super cute handmade bear card? Follow along to learn how to make this greeting card.
Supplies:
- Cardstock Warehouse Cardstock Paper:
- Lessebo White 100lb
- Black Mirror
- Pink Mirror
- Holographic Mirror
- Lessebo Pitch Black 100lb
- Kraft Speckletone 100lb
- Artis Adhesive Glue
- Opal Hot Glimmer Foil
- Honey Bee Stamps You Buzzword Stamp and Die set
- Honey Bee Stamps Fluttering Hearts Foil Plate
- Honey Bee Stamps Heart Hugs Die Set
- Distress Oxide Seedless Preserves
- Distress Oxide Wilted Violet
- Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry
- Foam Tape
- Copic Markers E55, E35, E59
First, I used Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System and Opal Foil to apply Honey Bee Stamps Flutter Hearts to create my background on Lessebo White cardstock.
Using a blending brush, I then applied Picked Raspberry to the bottom left corner of the panel.
Next, I then applied Seedless Preserves and Wilted Violet.
I selected the bear die from Honey Bee Stamps Heart Hugs die set to die cut from Kraft Speckletone and Black Lessebo cardstock. I also die cut balloons from pink mirror and strings from Lessebo White cardstock. I then die cut the You sentiment from Black Mirror cardstock.
Next, used Copic Markers E55, E59, and E35 to add shading to the bear.
Finally, I positioned and adhered all of the components to the panel and then adhered the panel to a Holographic Mirror mat.
I then adhered the entire front to a 4.25 x 5.5 top folding cardbase. Isn't this just so cute?!?
Cardstock Warehouse also offers precision-cut flat and folded card bases to make card making much easier. Ah wait . . . one more thing! Don't forget to pair this beautiful keepsake card with a coordinating envelope, also available at Cardstock Warehouse - ok - now make someone's day❤️

This is SO cute! Gosh, I miss having pen pals because we would go all out with what we would make and send each other and it was always so exciting to wait and see what would arrive in the mail next! I love handmade gifts so much, which is why I like creating things and sharing them with the world I guess; then whoever wants to see them, CAN see them and be inspired by them and perhaps recreate them if they want. Whoever receives something anywhere near as adorable as this card is very lucky! 🥰
